Jacob Grier has worked in the hospitality business as a bartender, barista, cocktail consultant, and brand ambassador for more than two decades. He is the author of multiple cocktail books, including Cocktails on Tap: The Art of Mixing Spirits and Beer and, with coauthor Brett Adams, Raising the Bar: A Bottle-by-Bottle Guide to Mixing Masterful Cocktails at Home and The Bartender’s Library: A Guide to Curating Spirits and Creating Cocktails from the Multnomah Whiskey Library. He is also the founder of Aquavit Week, an international celebration of the signature Nordic spirit. Brands he has worked with as an ambassador include Novo Fogo cachaca, Bols Genever, El Dorado rum, Brennivin aquavit and many more.
